Between 15-19 June 2025, SELINA will take part in the International Congress for Conservation Biology (ICCB 2025) in Brisbane/Meanjin, Australia. The conference will be attended by over 1,700 conservation professionals from more than 90 countries at one of the year’s largest global gatherings for conservation science.
Organised by the Society for Conservation Biology and hosted by its Oceania section, ICCB 2025 will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, Indigenous leaders, and representatives from NGOs, government bodies, and businesses.
As part of its strategic communication and outreach efforts, SELINA will be represented at exhibition stand #27 by its communication and dissemination lead, Pensoft Publishers. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore SELINA’s approach to integrating biodiversity, ecosystem condition, and ecosystem services into decision-making processes across Europe. A range of engaging promotional materials will be available, and representatives will be able to discuss the project’s progress, impact, and future goals.
SELINA will also be showcased alongside the Horizon Europe project REST-COAST, highlighting how research and nature-based solutions can be transformed into practical tools for real-world application. This joint presence reflects SELINA’s strong commitment to international collaboration and to reinforcing connections across the science–policy–practice interface.
By sharing knowledge with global conservation leaders, SELINA continues to contribute to the growing movement for informed, ecosystem-based decision-making, not just in Europe, but around the world.
