SELINA was showcased at BioMonWeek 2026, held between 4–8 May 2026 in Montpellier, France.  

Co-organised by Biodiversa+, Alliance for Nature, BioAgora, GBIF ECA and MARCO-BOLO, the conference brought together researchers, policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders to advance biodiversity monitoring across Europe.

The conference programme was organised around nine core themes, spanning terrestrial, freshwater and marine monitoring, as well as data management and policy.

Throughout the event, SELINA was featured at the Pensoft Publishers exhibition booth alongside the Horizon Europe projects BioAgora, OBSGESSION, ANERIS, eLTER, ANTENNA, CO-OP4CBD, TRANSPATH and RESPIN.

BioMonWeek 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration and contribute to discussions on the future of biodiversity monitoring across Europe.
