SELINA celebrates its 4th Birthday
This July, SELINA marks its fourth year of advancing the integration of biodiversity, ecosystems and ecosystem services into decision-making across Europe.
Over the past year, the project continued to strengthen collaboration, outreach and knowledge exchange across its growing network.
Communities of Practice remained at the heart of these efforts, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders across Europe.
The project further expanded its communication activities by joining the EU Ecosystem Services Bluesky feed, fostering connections and knowledge exchange on biodiversity and nature-based solutions across Europe.
SELINA maintained a strong presence at major international events throughout the year.
Project partners actively contributed to the 6th ESP Europe Conference in Prague through presentations, discussions and networking activities. SELINA was also showcased at EU Green Week 2026, engaging policymakers, researchers and practitioners on the role of ecosystem services in supporting nature-inclusive decision-making.
As SELINA enters another year of implementation, the consortium looks forward to new collaborations, upcoming activities and continued progress towards more informed and nature-positive decision-making.
